Please give $10 a month or more to Family Resources in support of its Homeless Youth Programs, which provide safe homes to kids like Will.

For 48 years Family Resources has been providing hope and solutions for homeless teens in our local communities. As an organization with a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, we are a trusted advocate for vulnerable youth.

The National Runaway Switchboard estimates on any given night there are 1.3 million homeless youth living in the United States, many due to intense family conflict or abuse in their home. On the street homeless youth are susceptible to exploitation, substance abuse, and assault. Research shows up to 40% of youth experiencing homelessness are LGBTQ+, however LGBTQ+ youth account for only 7% of the youth population. Youth with less than a high school diploma or GED had a 346% higher risk of homelessness, and unmarried parenting youth had a 200% higher risk of homelessness.
